01Scope and contact
This Privacy Policy applies to Service Nitro websites, landing pages, forms, appointment scheduling, advertising campaigns, and other online services that link to this policy, together referred to as the “Services.” Service Nitro is a U.S.-based growth marketing company serving home-service businesses.
In this policy, “Service Nitro,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean the Service Nitro business operating the Services. If you are an employee, owner, or representative of a Service Nitro client, your client agreement may also govern information that client provides to us. When a client controls the information submitted by its customers, that client may be the data controller and Service Nitro may act as its service provider or processor.
For privacy questions or requests, contact hello@servicenitro.com. We do not ask you to submit a Social Security number, full payment-card number, password, medical information, or other sensitive information through the Services.
02Information we collect
Depending on how you use the Services, we may collect the following categories of information:
| Category | Examples | Why it may be needed |
|---|---|---|
| Contact identifiers | Name, work email address, telephone number | To respond, qualify an inquiry, schedule a call, and send requested confirmations |
| Business information | Company name, company website, industry, service area, service interests, capacity, and monthly revenue range | To understand fit, prepare a useful conversation, and tailor the requested marketing service |
| Appointment information | Selected date and time, time zone, appointment status, confirmation and reminder details | To provide scheduling and prevent duplicate or missed appointments |
| Communications | Messages, requests, form responses, support correspondence, and call or meeting details you choose to provide | To answer questions, provide the Services, and maintain business records |
| Device and usage data | IP address, browser and device type, operating system, pages viewed, referring page, approximate location, timestamps, and interaction events | To secure the Services, understand performance, measure campaigns, and improve the site |
| Advertising identifiers | Cookie identifiers, Meta browser parameters such as fbp or fbc, campaign parameters, and similar online identifiers | To measure advertising, attribute a requested action, and show or suppress relevant advertising where permitted |
We may create limited inferences, such as the industry or service category associated with an inquiry, from information you provide and your interaction with the Services. We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information. Please do not submit health, financial-account, government-identification, precise location, or other sensitive information in a form or message.
03How we collect it
We collect information directly from you when you submit a form, request information, schedule a qualification call, email us, communicate with us, or otherwise choose to provide information.
We also collect technical and interaction information automatically through the browser and device you use. This may occur through cookies, pixels, tags, scripts, server logs, and similar technologies.
We may receive information from advertising platforms, analytics providers, scheduling and customer relationship systems, publicly available business sources, referrals, and service providers that help us operate the Services. We expect those providers to have the right to provide the information to us.
04How we use information
We may use personal information to:
- Provide the Services, respond to requests, and communicate about an inquiry or appointment.
- Review whether a business is a suitable candidate for a Service Nitro trial or ongoing engagement.
- Build, operate, test, secure, troubleshoot, and improve our website, forms, calendar, and systems.
- Measure campaign performance, understand which pages and channels produce requested actions, and improve advertising.
- Send service messages, appointment confirmations, reminders, follow-up, and other communications you request or that are reasonably related to a transaction.
- Send marketing communications where permitted and consistent with your choices. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time.
- Detect fraud, abuse, security incidents, or violations of our terms and protect our rights, users, and business.
- Comply with law, legal process, regulatory requirements, or lawful requests from public authorities.
We use data only for reasonably expected business purposes connected to the Services, or for another purpose disclosed to you or permitted by applicable law.
05Cookies and tracking
We and our providers may use cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, server logs, and similar technologies. Some are necessary for security, page delivery, form operation, and appointment scheduling. Others help us measure advertising and understand site performance.
Our current Services may use Google advertising and measurement tools. We may also use Meta Business Tools, including a Meta Pixel or server-side events, on pages and flows where those tools are enabled. On the HVAC page, submitting the contact form may be reported to Meta as a “Schedule” event even if a call is not booked. The event may include contact details and online identifiers for matching. Contact details sent for matching are transformed using industry-standard hashing before server-side transmission when supported by the platform.
Cookie and advertising settings are controlled partly by the browser and platforms you use. You can manage cookies through browser settings, use platform controls such as Google Ads Settings, and review Meta’s cookie information. Blocking cookies may affect some features. Where a law requires consent for non-essential tracking, we will request and honor that consent as required.
We do not use sensitive information to target advertising. We do not sell personal information for money. Some privacy laws may classify disclosures to advertising or measurement partners as “sharing” or targeted advertising, even when no money changes hands. You may request that we stop those disclosures by contacting us.
06How we share information
We may disclose information to the following categories of recipients:
- Service providers and processors: hosting, security, customer relationship management, appointment scheduling, email, text messaging, analytics, advertising, support, and infrastructure providers that process information for us.
- Advertising and measurement platforms: platforms such as Google and Meta when needed to measure campaigns, attribute requested actions, or manage advertising.
- People you ask us to involve: your employees, owners, representatives, or professional advisers when you direct us to share information.
- Professional advisers: attorneys, accountants, insurers, auditors, and similar advisers under confidentiality obligations.
- Authorities and other parties: when required by law, legal process, or to protect people, property, security, or legal rights.
- Business transaction parties: a buyer, successor, lender, investor, or adviser in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale, or similar transaction.
We do not rent personal information to data brokers. We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. We require service providers to use information only for the services they provide to us, subject to their own terms and privacy notices where applicable.
07Retention
We keep personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including to provide the Services, maintain business and appointment records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations, and preserve evidence. Retention varies by the type of information and the context in which it was collected.
When information is no longer needed, we delete it, de-identify it, or securely isolate it where deletion is not immediately practical because of backups, legal obligations, or legitimate security needs.
08Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live and subject to legal exceptions, you may have the right to:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Request deletion of personal information.
- Request a portable copy of information you provided to us.
- Opt out of marketing emails or text messages. Use the unsubscribe link in an email, reply STOP to a marketing text, or contact us.
- Opt out of the sale of personal information, sharing for targeted advertising, or certain profiling where those rights apply.
- Appeal a decision we make about a privacy request where applicable law provides an appeal right.
To submit a request, email hello@servicenitro.com with the subject “Privacy request” and describe what you need. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity and protect against fraudulent requests. You may use an authorized agent where allowed by law, subject to verification of the agent’s authority.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. Some requests may be denied or limited when an exception applies, such as a legal obligation, security need, or inability to verify the request. We will explain the reason when permitted.
09State privacy rights
Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws may have additional rights, including rights to access, correct, delete, obtain a copy of, or opt out of certain processing of personal information. Those rights and exceptions vary by state. This section is intended to provide a general notice, not to reduce any right provided by applicable law.
For California residents, “personal information” may include identifiers, commercial information, internet or network activity, professional information, and inferences. We collect and use those categories for the business purposes described above. We do not sell personal information for money, and we may disclose online identifiers to advertising and measurement providers for targeted advertising or campaign measurement as permitted by law. California residents may request to know, access, correct, delete, opt out of sale or sharing, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information where applicable, and receive equal treatment.
For Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, and other state residents, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, obtain portability, opt out of targeted advertising or certain profiling, and appeal a denied request. Submit requests through the email above. If your request is denied, reply to the denial to request an appeal. We will respond within the time required by the law that applies to your request.
We will process legally recognized universal opt-out signals where required and technically supported. You may also make an opt-out request directly by email. Because the Services are intended for business operators, some state consumer-rights laws may not apply to information submitted solely in a business-to-business context.
10Security and children
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No website, transmission, or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security. Please use care when sending information online and contact us promptly if you believe an account or communication is unauthorized.
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
The Services may link to third-party websites or platforms. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices, not this policy.
11Changes and contact
We may update this policy when our Services, data practices, vendors, or legal obligations change. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice when required.
